New Adventure

Hey everyone! Welcome to “The Joys and Trials of a Christian Teen!” ✨

On this site, I, Princess Q’Zion, a female, African-American, and Christian teenager, will be sharing my journey, called life, with other teenagers and parents of teenagers around the world!

I will be discussing everything from everyday life, to cooking, beauty, self-care, problems such as sexism and racism, as well as give advice to other teens, and adults who are parenting teens, on how teenagers of the 21st century, such as myself, view and interpret the wonderful world that we all live in.

I honestly still am having trouble believing that I’m writing my own blog! Even though I’m writing my first post, it still feels so surreal.

However, I can’t help but be absolutely thrilled! I’ve had a passion for writing/writing books ever since Preschool. I knew the words that I wanted to say, but I always had to ask my teacher and/or my Goodmommy (my beautiful grandmother who is raising me), how to actually spell the words.

During last school year, I remember one Creative Writing Club meeting, where we were able to choose a setting that made us happy, and we had to write paragraphs based on our 5 senses. We had 5 minutes to create each paragraph.

I closed my eyes for about 10 seconds, and, before I knew it, I found a bunch of words jumping in my brain, just anxiously waiting to be splattered on that Google Docs page.

And, within 2 minutes or less, I was finished with each paragraph, (paragraphs that I was quite content with) while most students didn’t even finish within the 5 minutes that they had.

I’ve always felt as if God was just whispering the words he wanted to say in my ear. Some immediate that I barely needed time to think about what they were. I just knew that theywere the right ones.

Alright! I think I’ve kept you all long enough.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this post, and I am looking forward to sharing my journey with all of you! Have a wonderful day!

Love,

Princess Q’Zion ♛
