The Benefits of Healthy Eating

Hey there, beautiful people! It’s Princess Q’Zion! I know that this is probably more common these days, with COVID-19 and everything: Me and my Goodmommy both decided that we would start a healthier lifestyle about 2-4 months ago. ✨

WAIT! I know what you’re probably thinking: eating healthy means that I’ll feel like I’m on some kind of crazy diet. However, today, I wanted to write this to tell you that, if you look in the right places, this can actually be avoided.

1. Omelette/Cereal

First off, I love to start my morning with either cereal (Fruit Loops or Lucky Charms) or an omelette. Most people don’t know this, but a bowl of cereal is actually a great source of grains. This is especially important since we need about 48g of per day.

Also, a serving of Lucky Charms is 190 calories, and a two-egg omelette with cheese and other ingredients can be as much as 315 calories. Therefore, each of these breakfast choices are actually acceptable if you want a well-balanced menu.

2. Salad

Yup. I know. Boring with a capital “B.”

But, I’m sure that you haven’t tried the Panera Bread Barbecue Chicken Salad. Filled with lettuce (obviously), beans, corn, and the best part, tender slices of chicken with a matching BBQ sauce.

To be honest, I thought literally never thought I would actually like salad in my life before I ate this!

You have to try it! Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!

3. The Impossible Burger

You might have heard of different types of plant-based burgers, made to taste like real ones. It so happens that one of the most popular names in this category is the Impossible Burger!

Let. Me. Tell. You. All of the great stories about the suprisingly delicious taste of these burgers are true! When I first took a bite of this burger, I have to admit, I really believed, and still do believe, that this is the best burger that I’ve ever tasted!

It has a crispy edge that makes it crunch in your mouth, and some toppings of cheese and a really good sauce makes it takes even more heavenly!

Trust me, after you have an Impossible Burger, you’ll never need to get a hamburger from a fast-food resturaunt again!

Ever since me and my Goodmommy have started our healthy journey, I have felt happier, healthier, lighter, and I’ve even lost a few pounds in the process!

But, don’t forget, my friends, a slice of pizza every now and then won’t hurt!

Until next time, lovely people! ✨
