Hello, again, beautiful people! I hope this new school year is going great, for all of you! Speaking of school, today I wanted to talk to you guys about getting better grades. I mean, we all want to be able to show our parents a good report card. ✨
Besides, seeing that huge smile on your parent(s)’s face and that fantastic report card on your refrigerator really makes you feel proud about yourself. Especially when they can take you out shopping or for ice cream as a reward.
So, are y’all ready to learn how you can get good (or better) grades in school?
Let’s get started!
- Get or stay organized. ✨
You might not realize this, but school is all about organization. If your locker is always a mess, or you can never keep track of your books, then it’s easy to start slacking when it comes to your grades. Keeping a clean and organized locker or desk, as well as recording important dates and events on a calendar can help you stay on track in school.

2. Attend each of your classes. ✨
I know, going to school can be boring sometimes, but if you don’t attend or if you skip your classes, it’s really easy to get failing grades. Going to all of your classes, on time, as well as participating and carefully listening to lessons can really help you when it’s time for those big tests.

3. Take lots of notes! ✨
This kind of intertwines with tip #2. While listening to lessons and/or discussions in class, it is very important to take notes. Lots of notes! Trust me, you are not going to remember everything your teacher says. And, even if you think you will now, you’ll see once it’s time for an unexpected pop quiz. Remember, it’s always better to be prepared than to be cocky.

4. Get a good amount of sleep (at night, though, not in class!) ✨
Studies say that teenagers from the ages of 13-18 need 8-10 hours of sleep every day. Not only is sleep essential for your health, but it also helps increase your amount of focus and concentration. Less naps in class will certainly help you improve your grades!

5. Make sure that you do lots of studying! ✨
How can you do well in school when you can’t even remember what you’re learning? Along with taking notes, it is important that you study those notes often, to make sure that you can remember the material. Using techniques like flashcards to remember vocabulary or creating practice problems to master algebra can really help you in the long run!

6. Never be afraid to ask for help! ✨
If you can’t understand the required material, whether it is because it’s simply confusion, or you have a certain condition, such as dyslexia (which is very common and nothing to be embarrassed about,) never feel as if you cannot ask for help. Try to ask your teacher or parent for help, and get a tutor, if needed. If you have or can get someone who is willing to teach you, then go for it!

7. Create/maintain balance. ✨
If you do too much of anything, then you will eventually get burnt out or tired. It’s important that you also make time for family, dance/sports (if you participate in them), or just taking a few minutes to watch YouTube videos. Having a balanced lifestyle can really help you to focus and realx!

Alright, everyone! I really hope you learned from those 7 Tips on Getting Better Grades!
It’s important to do your best in school. It really helps prepare you for the real world, both academically and emotionally! I’m sure when you see that awesome report card on your refrigerator, you’ll agree!
Have a wonderful, educational, and fun day, beautiful people! ✨
