The Importance of Time With God

We all need that time where we sit down and spend some quality time with our Father, God. This time might be meditating on a new scripture, or even praying to him and thanking him for what he has blessed us with. Regardless, there are so many different ways to spend time with our Father.

But why is time with God so important? This is simply because, in order to truly develop a relationship with him, we need to make sure that we talk to him, pray to him, and spend time with him. Not only this, but it will help us become more familiar with who He is, and establish an overall closer relationship.

Think about it. The way that we get closer to people that we can see is by spending time with them, or bonding with them. A huge part of a Christian lifestyle should be having quiet time with the Lord.

Our time with God doesn’t have to be super long. It could be just a simple “Thank you!” or sitting quietly with Him. Even if it is just 5-10 minutes a day, the fact that you are giving Him all the Glory is what matters, the most.

I hope you all enjoyed this blog post about Our time with God, and its important. Remember balance is key!

Have an amazing day everyone! ✨

Romans 12:1-2 NIV – Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

2 Timothy 1:7 NIV – For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.
