I’m so excited right now, there’s literally no words to describe it!!! I’ve wanted a dog (or some type of pet) for as long as I can remember. Throughout my years, I’ve had two beta fish, both of which I loved dearly.

However, I’ve never had what people call a “fur baby.” A companion that you can hold, touch, and interact with. That’s why when we (me and Goodmommy, my grandmother and guardian), found a local breeder who had a Netherland dwarf bunny for sale, I jumped for joy and thanked the Lord for this blessing.

We’ve already made the deposit for her (we discovered that she is a female.) Out of the two pictures of female dwarf bunnies that we got from the breeder’s site, we don’t know which one is ours. However, whichever one she is, me and Goodmommy can agree that she will be the perfect addition to our family.

Since she is too young to be separated from her rabbit mommy, right now (which we completely understand), our agreed date to bring her home is January 30th. While I must admit, the wait will be filled with tons of excitement and anticipation, I’m glad that it will give us time to set up her play pen and buy her food and water bowls, chew toys, a litter box, as well as a place to sleep and hide. So be on the lookout for updates of me and Goodmommy shopping for her before (and after) her arrival.

Oh, and we also thought of the perfect name…Royal! Since Goodmommy is also known as Royal T, and I am Q Royal (the letters are the start of our first names), we thought that the name Royal would be perfect for our bunny baby. I’m sure that when she comes home, she will feel like royalty! Well…bunny royalty.
