I mean…who doesn’t love a refreshing mug full of warm, sweet, luscious, and chocolatey hot chocolate. Ooh, that last part was a tongue twister! Try saying chocolatey hot chocolate 5 times fast. I know it’s a little silly, LOL. But, it’s also fun.

Anyway, winter time is here! Can you feel it? It’s at this time of year that we need to find ways to keep ourselves warm and cozy. Who needs a fireplace or a blanket when you can drink a nice, warm beverage? And nobody can deny that hot chocolate is the best (or at least one of the best) beverages to sip when its chilly outside.
In my home, me and Goodmommy are hot chocolate fanatics. It never goes out of style, so we like to make sure we keep some in our pantry all year round. So as soon as we found out that it is National Hot Chocolate Day, we knew that we had to have some. And in good judgement. Just look at all the boxes of hot chocolate mix that we have.

One of the long list of perks of hot chocolate is its accessibility. It isn’t crazy expensive and it is extremely easy to make at home. Seriously. All you need is a mix, water, a microwave, a large (and festive) mug, and lots of love, of course. Making some hot chocolate is such a great way to bond with family, in the kitchen. There’s nothing like a warm cup of hot chocolate to put a smile on your face, and your loved one’s faces, too.

And don’t you just love it when you open the mix packet and that oddly recognizable aroma fills the air? The amount of decadence and nostalgia of the smell of chocolate gets me so excited. It’s like a sneak peek of the chocolatey goodness that’s up ahead. I can almost taste it, at this point.

And once everything is mixed together, the mix is transformed into a perfect mug of hot chocolate. You can’t beat it. Delicious. Warm. Simple. It’s got everything that I would want in a drink during a chilly winter night. Or any night, for that matter.

While I love hot chocolate, me and Goodmommy are also big fans of tea, hot or cold. I know that othes prefer coffee as their main winter (and yearly) beverage. Feel free to comment down below which one you prefer.
Thank you so much for stopping by to celebrate National Hot Chocolate Day. Me and Goodmommy enjoyed our hot chocolate, and we hope that you have (or will) too.
Have a beautiful day, everyone! I’ll see you later!☕
