Christmas Tree, Christmas Night

by Princess Q’Zion, written on Tuesday, December 14th, 2021

The lights on our tree
They glisten in the light
No one can disagree
They light up Christmas night

The bright lights twinkle like a star
Floating in outer space
The ornaments are so unique
Each one has its own place

We hark the herald angels
One, two, and three
We sing in harmony together
The hours will foresee

Hand in hand we pray
In happiness and delight
That we will see your lights again
On next year’s Christmas night

And that’s all for today! I hope you all enjoyed this short and sweet poem!
Have a beautiful day, everyone! ✨

16 Ideas on What to Write on Your Christmas Cards | Blogmas Day 7

16 Ideas on What to Write on Your Christmas Cards

-ajoyfulchristianteen 🌟

Isn’t it so exciting to receive Christmas cards from your family and friends? To think that they took the time to write us a card and wish us a Merry Christmas is a gift within itself. Sending a small card can spread a lot of joy, and we often find ourselves doing so when winter comes around.

When we think about what we want to write on our Christmas cards, we might want something witty, funny, or heartfelt that will leave a memorable impression on our loved ones. But, the words don’t always flow together.

Here’s a list of some messages that you can incorporate in your Christmas cards to help make your loved ones’ Christmas merry! 🌟

Make a Funny, or Corny Joke/Pun

Laughter is one of the greatest medicines. If you want to make your loved one chuckle, especially if they’ve been down in the dumps, write a corny or funny joke inside your Christmas card to put a smile on their face. Depending on the joke that you choose, they could either laugh out loud or facepalm with embarrassment. But it’s the thought that counts, right?

1. What do you call a laughing Christmas cookie? A snickerdoodle.

2. I’m s-mitten with you.

3. I went outside with a T-shirt and denim shorts. When my friend told me it was too cold, I replied, “I don’t snow what you’re talking about!”

Speak from the Heart

If you can’t think of anything super witty, just say something from your heart. Inside of your card, tell your family member or friend how much you appreciate them, or what you love most about them. A simple note to tell them that you love them will likely be greatly cherished.

4. Thanks for sticking by my side when things got tough, this year. Have a Merry Christmas!

5. You light up my life like Christmas lights do a house.

6. I hope that this Christmas season brings happiness, love, joy, and peace to your home.

Spread the Love of God with a Religious Message

Chances are, if you do practice a religion, some of your close loved ones do, as well. We can all use a reminder of the true reason for the season. Spreading the love of God is a blessing that should be shared!

7. May Christ be with you during this wonderful Christmas season.

8. I pray that you and your family are blessed with peaceful spirits as you come together to celebrate the greatest gift of all: God’s love.

9. Let’s rejoice, for the birth of Jesus has saved us all!

Aim to Inspire

While for a lot of people, Christmas is a happy time of year, it can be very emotionally challenging, for others. If you know someone who is going through the blues, write something that will inspire them, and put a little hope in their hearts.

10. Every struggle is just a tunnel. Some are longer than others, but there is always a light at the end.

11. Seasons pass. We usually like some more than others. But if we are strong enough to endure our seasons, we will see how they have made us stronger.

12. Perfect is underrated, but self confidence is always in style!

Keep It Classy

Maybe you want to give a Christmas card to someone who you don’t know very well. It might be a co-worker or other acquaintance who you see from time to time. In these cases, you might just want a simple, yet sweet message to wish them a Merry Christmas.

13. May your Christmas be merry and bright!

14. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

15. Our family wishes you love, joy and peace … today, tomorrow and always,

16. I hope that you and your family witness many miracles and continue moving forward with hope this Christmas season.

I had a lot of fun sharing some ideas on what you can write in your Christmas cards this year! Remember that the message doesn’t have to be super long or extravagant. The simple fact that you took the time to send someone a Christmas card is what counts, and I’m sure it will be greatly appreciated!

Have a blessed day, everyone! Remember that God is good all the time! 🌟

3 Creative Ways to Make Brownies that Taste Like Christmas | Blogmas Day 6

3 Creative Ways to Make Brownies that Taste like Christmas

-ajoyfulchristianteen ✨

Happy Wednesday, y’all! I don’t know if you guys have heard yet, but today is National Brownie Day! Brownies are a dessert fit for any time of the year. They’re fudgy, slightly crunchy, and moist, if they’re made right. But, we don’t want just any brownie. We want a brownie that screams “Christmas!”

I wanted to share the brownie mix that I like to use to make delicious brownies. It’s from a brand called Ghiradelli, specifically the Double Chocolate Premium Brownie Mix. It includes chocolate chips, which make the brownie melt in your mouth. Perfect for National Brownie Day!

Keep on reading for some creative things that you can do to make your brownies reflect the Christmas spirit! ✨

1. Incorporate Classic Holiday Flavors

You know those flavors that effortlessly say “Christmas?” Peppermint, pumpkin, raspberry, ginger, and caramel are just a few examples. Incorporate one of these flavors into a brownie, and see what you think. Adding a flavor that compliments this time of year along with chocolate can make a really sweet treat!

2. Use Innovative Shapes

While the taste of a brownie is super important, cutting them into creative shapes can make them even more of a joy to eat. Use your creativity when shaping your brownies into different forms like a Christmas tree, heart, star, or candy cane. And don’t be afraid to decorate! If you do, they will surely add some Christmas color to your dinner table.

3. Make Cheesecake Brownies

One of my favorite holiday desserts, or desserts in general, is cheesecake. It’s creamy, simple, and a classic that never gets old. But what about a brownie cheesecake? Sounds delicious! While both are great on their own, I’m sure that they would be even better together!

Oh great! Now I want some chocolate, lol. Hopefully, you now have some creative ideas to help you elevate your brownies and make them scream “Christmas!”

Have an amazing day, y’all! ✨

How to Make Your Home Look and Feel Festive for the Christmas Season

How to Make Your Home Look and Feel Festive for the Christmas Season

-ajoyfulchristianteen 🌟

Bells are ringing, angels are singing, and snow is falling…in some places, at least. Christmas will be here before we know it, and it’s about time that we start presenting that festive spirit in our homes.

Christmas decorations are that perfect touch that makes the holidays even more special. They light up the house with a joy and cheerfulness that simply can’t be replaced.

To make sure that we make the most of this time of year, here are some tips on how you can make your home come alive with the essence of Christmas!

1. Show In and Show Out with a Festive Wreath on Your Front Door

Come on, now. Although the inside of our homes are important, we can’t forget to show some love to the front door. A festive wreath, bow, or other decoration sitting on your porch can be an amazing way to start decorating for Christmas. Not only is it a great way to get into the Christmas spirit, but it’s also a simple touch that you can use to make your home set apart from the rest!

2. Light Up the Halls with Candles

Candles are a classic symbol of the holidays. They can fill up your home with delicate yet delectable smells like lavender, gingerbread, cinnamon, candy cane, or other festive scents that will make you want to jump for joy! If you’d like to light up your home with a cheery scent and bright illumination, then candles are probably the right way to go.

3. Sing Along to Your Favorite Christmas Melodies

Singing in general is a gift from God, and a wonderful way to make the holidays even more special. Having a Christmas sing along with your family and friends can be an amazing event to kick off a party! But, even if you aren’t what some would call a “social butterfly”, you can always cuddle up in a warm blanket by the fireplace and listen to some festive jams to put you into a merry mood!

4. Warm Up with a Lit Fireplace

Christmas is that holiday where we want to feel cozy in our homes. In many places, it is a cold time of year, and every now and again, we need to be creative and find ways to stay warm. If you aren’t a fan of candles, a lit fireplace is very convenient if you want to warm up as the winter breeze flows in the air. And a housecoat as well and some hot cocoa probably won’t hurt, either!

5. Enjoy Some Classic Christmas Sweets

Candy canes, sugar cookies, caramel chocolate. Yum! There is an endless list of classic sweet treats that will likely bring some nostalgia to your life, this Christmas. Indulging in some decadent desserts can make that Christmas spirit come alive so much, that you’ll be able to taste it…literally.

Hopefully, you now have some ideas on how to make this Christmas like no other! We all want to make the most of this time of year, and filling our homes with a festive, Christmas atmosphere is one of the best parts of celebrating this blessed holiday!

Have a blessed, joyful, and festive day, everyone!
