Happy Resurrection Day ♡

Thank God for a beautiful Resurrection Day! Me and Goodmommy, as well as some of our family, had a great time during praise and worship at today’s church service, this morning. All though we were tired from waking up so early, it is always a blessing to be in the House of the Lord with other followers of Christ.

Despite the fact that we are sinners, and we have all fell short of God’s Glory, He sent His one and only son to come on Earth and pay for our sins with the ultimate sacrificial love.

Although I didn’t write the poem the I will be sharing today (which is instead from an online article) it summed up what was in my heart perfectly. I hope you all enjoy it! 💛

He was bruised and brought healing!

He was pierced and eased pain!

He was persecuted and brought freedom!

He was dead and brought life!

He reigns and brings Peace!

The world can’t understand him,

The armies can’t defeat Him,

The schools can’t explain Him, and

The leaders can’t ignore Him.

Herod couldn’t kill Him,

The Pharisees couldn’t confuse Him, and

The grave couldn’t hold Him!

Nero couldn’t crush Him,

Hitler couldn’t silence Him,

Other religions can’t replace Him, and

The world can’t explain Him away!

He is light, love, longevity, and Lord.

He is Goodness, Kindness, Gentleness, and God.

He is Holy, Righteous, mighty, powerful

He is Jesus, the Sweetest most powerful Name that I know, and I L💛VE Him!

Have a beautiful and blessed Easter Sunday, everybody!

Remember that God is love, and regardless of what we do, His love for us will never falter; this is what He showed us when the Son of God, Jesus Christ, died, rose, and lived again. Then, now, and forever. 💐

3 beautiful dresses for 1 blessed girl

Don’t get me wrong, I love a good pair of sneakers with leggings or overalls and a t-shirt. But that doesn’t mean that I don’t like to get all dressed up once in a while, too. While I do have a large amount of dresses in my closet, almost half of them are too small. What must I saw~I’m a teenager. We grow both mentally and physically.

Lately, we’ve been getting more involved in church, and it’s been so long since we went shopping for some church attire, or any formal clothing, for that matter. While Goodmommy was out today, she bought 3 beautiful new dresses for me, and I CAN’T WAIT to wear one of them next Sunday.

I love specific elements of each dress, so I’m thrilled to share my opinions with you.

1 ~ Sky Blue with Bows

Even though I love all of my new dresses, this one might just be my favorite. The color is a really pretty sky blue with this texture along the hemline and the bottom of the sleeves, both of which are topped with an adorable bow. Something about this color just stands out to me. And although the dress is fairly simple, the small details tie everything together is such an elegant way.

2 ~ Teal with Ruffled Shoulder

The next dress is a greenish-blue or teal color. It has these slightly ruffled shoulders and coordinating ruffles along the bottom. This one is probably the most plain, however I know the whole thing will pop once I pair it up with some jewelry. Overall, I’m excited to try on this dress: I think it’ll look really gorgeous, once I try it on!

3 ~ Navy Blue with Rhinestones

I absolutely adore the design in the middle. But to be fair, I love almost anything with a heart on it LOL. The rhinestone really shine and stand out. Plus, the navy blue is similar to the color of my birthstone, which makes me love this dress that much more.

Overall, each of these garments were great new additions to my closet, and I’m so thankful to God and to Goodmommy for these beautiful dresses. Look out for pictures of me wearing them in future content!

Question of the Day: Which of my dresses (from this post) do you like best? Feel free to comment down below.

And that’s all for today, everybody! I’ll “see” you next time! 👗💖👗

We’re Business Owners ~ T-shirt Galore

What’s up, everybody? I have a question; have you ever wondered what it’s like to have your own business? There are a lot of small businesses in many communities, which probably includes yours. It’s National Mom and Pops Business Owners Day, and to celebrate I think it’s a great idea to talk about being an entrepreneur.

Although it can be a lot of work, being your own supervisor can be extremely rewarding in more ways than one. About a month ago, me and Goodmommy decided to start our own business in the textile industry. We customize t-shirts, cups or vases, cards, paper, and a variety of other mediums.

So far, it has been such an amazing experience to spend time with my Goodmommy and work with fashion and design. Not to mention that’s it’s good practice for when I open my own business, one day.

Today I’m going to show you guys some photos of the shirts (and other projects) that we’ve completed. Let’s get this party started! ✨

One of my favorite parts of the designing process is staging the t-shirts for a photo after we’ve finished making it. We often use clothes from our wardrobe to give our audience an idea of what they could wear to match with each shirt. The pictures end up looking so fashion-forward, in the end.

Goodmommy and I love to show off our shirts whenever we go out (and at home, too.) For the most part, we get plenty of compliments on the sweet sayings. But to be fair, who doesn’t like a good t-shirt? They’re simple, convenient, and they can make a statement–literally.

All of our shirts are inspirational or uplifting in some form. Many designs are pertaining to our faith, to encourage others who buy our shirts, as well as those who read them. Surrounding yourself with positivity, especially on your clothing, can be very helpful when you need some motivation.

I know, I know. I did say that we do other projects, too. While shirts and t-shirts are our main products, we have been practicing some other projects, too.

For example, here is a craft that we did earlier today. We designed these gorgeous paper flowers for the first time. Although it took a little while to assemble all three, they were super fun to make and great for decoration and other possible projects, in the future.

I hope you all enjoyed taking a look at some of the products that we’ve made to celebrate the many small business owners who try to spread positivity in their communities around the world. The best thing about having your own business is that it isn’t even “work.” When you create a company that you love, you are doing what you love, with the ones you love, every day.

Have a beautiful and blessed day, y’all. See you next time! ✨

My *colorful* headband collection

So, for my virtual public schooling, I usually have (at least) one Zoom class every day. On Monday, both my electives and one of my main courses from Tuesday to Friday. I really enjoy them, because they give me a chance to interact with my classmates and look good while doing it.

I’ve been absolutely obsessed with my headbands for a little while now. Since most of them were multi-colored, I asked Goodmommy if she could get any single-colored head wraps for me. And, of course, she delivered! Thanks, Goodmommy. :)) ❤️

And now that I look at my growing collection of head wraps, I realize that it’s getting pretty big! That’s when I knew that it would be a fun blog post idea.

Here’s a short and sweet look at my *colorful* headband collection.

First up are my Top&Top Kotted Headbands. The intricate designs are so detailed, and the color choices are spectacular. What I really love is the fact that you can mix-and-match the headbands with your outfits. They’re really comfy, too.

The next ones are made by the same company, but they are unknotted with stretch elastic in the back—the part that goes around the back of my head. The patterns on this set kind of remind of different cultural patterns, for some reason.

Second to last are my Knotted Louis Vuitton headbands. I adore the simplicity of these designs. They can go with a multitude of colors and aren’t super detailed or complicated. Sometimes, that’s just what my outfits need.

And last, but not least, are the single-colored headbands that I was blessed with today. There are 5 in a pack (2 black, 1 grey, 1 dark blue, and 1 red.) I really wanted these so that I could match them with multi-colored outfits. Sometimes, all an outfit needs is one neutral color to tie it all together.

As you can see, I have a lot of headbands. However, I love them all. They’re simple, chic, and they allow me to be creative. And what is fashion without creativity?

Have a beautiful, blessed day everyone! See you next time! ✨

This or That #6 – Fashion Edition

Hey, y’all! Welcome to a new episode to one of my series — This or That. ✨

Just in case you are new, in this series I provide a list of this or that (item vs. item) questions about either random topics or the one of my choice. Today, we’ll be discussing all things fashion! Feel free to tell me your answers to each question, down below.

Let’s get started, fashionistas! ✨

1.) Silver 💎 or gold 💛?

Whether I wear silver or gold jewelry depends on what outfit I’m wearing. Both can be beautiful accents to tie an outfit together. But my go-to would be silver, since it goes with every color and you can wear it during any season. Gold doesn’t look cohesive with every color scheme, so the times that I can wear it are limited. Also, my nameplate (or my necklace in the shape of my name) is silver, so I tend to go for accessories that will match—most of which are also silver.

2.) Jumpsuit or romper?

Technically, a jumpsuit and a romper are the same thing, except a jumpsuit has pants and a romper, well, shorts. At this time–also called winter–I will say that I would prefer a jumpsuit. They are extremely cozy and a fantastic option if you want to wear a one-piece that doesn’t show too much. I prefer to wear rompers in the summer and spring.

3.) Sandals 👡 or sneakers 👟?

I must admit that I’m a sandal girl, primarily due to the comfort factor. I have about 10+ pairs of sandals (some bedazzled, some leather, some elastic) in my shoe collection, and I’m absolutely obsessed with them! They’re so comfortable and easy to put on, yet sandals are the perfect mix of casual and classy to go with any outfit. Well, except for those that go between your toes. Then…not so much, lol.

4.) Low or high boots 👢 ?

While both are cute, I will say high boots. Particularly knee-high boots. They’re chic and can make an outfit look sophisticated and elegant, or more playful and casual. While I love knee-highs, any type of cute boots are good, in my book.

5.) Backpack purse 🎒 or crossbody purse 👝?

To me, there’s no comparison here. I love a good crossbody. The diagonal line that they create when worn are like the bow on top of a Christmas gift. Crossbodies make looser clothes look more form fitting and are great if you have a more casual sense of style. Besides, they prevent me from misplacing anything. In short, they’re convenient.

I had a lot of fun adding a new addition to one of my favorite series. I’m curious about what your answers to each of these fashionista questions are. Maybe we had some alike. I would love if you comment down below your thoughts to one or all five of these this or that inquiries!

Here is a link to the rest of the series if you’d like to see more.

Thank you so much for reading! :)) Have a beautiful and blessed day, everyone! See you later! ✨

5 Tips on How to be Stylish and Modest

How are you doing, my beautiful audience? It’s me, Princess Q’Zion, back with another fabulous post! ✨

Today, I’m going to be talking about one of my favorite topics: fashion! I literally love talking about how we can make our outfits trendy and fabulous. Especially with the help of accessories.

I know that there are a lot of stereotypes that being a Christian means that you cannot be stylish. Well, I want to clear this up right now. That is not true, at all.

In fact, I wanted to show you guys how you can dress in style, without having to show too much skin. And guess what. You don’t have to be religious to do it! ✨

So, are y’all ready to see the modest and stylish side of fashion? Yep? Let’s get started!

Tip #1: Wear clothes that match and/or compliment your body type.

Instead of wearing tight-fitting clothes, such as revealing crop-tops, or trying to follow popular trends that only last for a week at a time, find long-lasting clothes that compliment your body and style. It’s a great way to stay stylish and modest, without breaking the bank. As long as you feel great in your clothes, then who cares about something as unimportant as trends?

Tip #2: Wear bright and beautiful colors to make your outfits pop!

What’s the best way to make an outfit stand out? Colors! Whether you use a bright red jacket or a pair of purple pumps, a colorful addition to your outfit can make them feel classy and tasteful. Just remember this: a little bit of color goes a long way!

Tip #3: Try to buy stylish cover-ups.

Think that your off-the-shoulder dress is a little too revealing? Try rocking a stylish jean jacket, a cardigan, or a sweater to cover up a little. Cover-ups such as the examples listed are a great way to prevent showing too much skin, without making it look forced. Let’s just call them natural and stylish accessories! ✨

Tip #4: Try a cute new romper or pantsuit.

Would you like an outfit that enhances your body shape, but still modest? Well, a romper is the perfect alternative. It might be hard to believe, but rompers are actually becoming more popular these days. Besides, you have to admit. They are pretty cute!

Tip #5: Rock crop tops with high-waisted bottoms.

I have to admit. Even I enjoy wearing a cute crop top every once and a while. I mean, they’re adorbs, right? However, when I do, I always wear some high-waisted jeans or leggings to pair with them. This is a great modest replacement, especially for people like me, who love the look of a good crop top.

Alright, everyone! I had a lot of fun today sharing five tips on how you can be modest and stylish, no matter the occasion. Don’t forget: whether you are religious or not, you don’t have to show a lot of skin to be beautiful, handsome, or attractive. Good fashion is good fashion.

Have an amazing, fabulous, and fashionable day, beautiful people!
