Thank God for a beautiful Resurrection Day! Me and Goodmommy, as well as some of our family, had a great time during praise and worship at today’s church service, this morning. All though we were tired from waking up so early, it is always a blessing to be in the House of the Lord with other followers of Christ.
Despite the fact that we are sinners, and we have all fell short of God’s Glory, He sent His one and only son to come on Earth and pay for our sins with the ultimate sacrificial love.
Although I didn’t write the poem the I will be sharing today (which is instead from an online article) it summed up what was in my heart perfectly. I hope you all enjoy it! 💛
He was bruised and brought healing!
He was pierced and eased pain!
He was persecuted and brought freedom!
He was dead and brought life!
He reigns and brings Peace!
The world can’t understand him,
The armies can’t defeat Him,
The schools can’t explain Him, and
The leaders can’t ignore Him.
Herod couldn’t kill Him,
The Pharisees couldn’t confuse Him, and
The grave couldn’t hold Him!
Nero couldn’t crush Him,
Hitler couldn’t silence Him,
Other religions can’t replace Him, and
The world can’t explain Him away!
He is light, love, longevity, and Lord.
He is Goodness, Kindness, Gentleness, and God.
He is Holy, Righteous, mighty, powerful
He is Jesus, the Sweetest most powerful Name that I know, and I L💛VE Him!
Have a beautiful and blessed Easter Sunday, everybody!
Remember that God is love, and regardless of what we do, His love for us will never falter; this is what He showed us when the Son of God, Jesus Christ, died, rose, and lived again. Then, now, and forever. 💐

Hey, everyone! In honor of Good Friday–a day of remembrance and appreciation for what Jesus did for us–I will be reblogging a poem about the Prince of Peace today. The title that popped in my spirit was Whom Shall I Fear. It’s a poem based on Psalm 27:1, about how with Jesus, everything and anything is possible.
I hope that this poem will inspire you mightily. Enjoy!
Whom shall I fear?
When You are the Lord of lords, and the King of kings
You are good and Your mercy endures
As your many angels sing
Whom shall I be afraid?
When You are my stronghold and my refuge
You’re always by my side
And I can’t deny that you always pick me up, at the oh-so-perfect time
Why shall I be wary?
When You are a promise keeper; You speak truth with your words
No love of any kind compares
To how Christ loves the church
Who am I to You, my Heavenly Father?
I’m the apple of your eye
A branch of the vine
You set me free and made me Your daughter
Who can come against me?
When You have won this battle
Before any hand can touch me
No matter where I travel
So, whom shall I fear?
When You are the leader of the world
The many boys and girls
And pure white pearls
Thank You, Jesus
I know this to be true
Because of who You are, there’s nothing to fear
Hence, my godly fear for You

Overall, I had a lot of fun writing this poem. What I love about poetry is how you can use words to paint a picture. It’s almost like a painting, but you decorate the canvas with your words instead of art supplies. Plus, any creative platform that allows me to talk about the goodness of God is one that I favor.
Thank you so much for reading! Have a beautiful day, and God bless you all!

First of all, let me say that I love you, and I know what you’re facing: I was you. While I’m not that much older than you, and I still have much to learn, I hope that you will read these words with an open heart. God has given me lots of wisdom, and like you I am learning every day. I still have things that I need to do and I still have imperfections. But through it all, God has always been there for us, and He always will be. This is the advice that I have for you.
Just be you. I know that you may look in the mirror and see imperfections. But God says that you’re beautiful, inside and out. Even with your flaws, you are the apple of His eye. Don’t ever look in the mirror and wish you looked like someone you’re not. From now on, when you look at your reflection, say “If God says that I’m beautiful, then I think so, too.” The more you say it, the more you’ll believe it. Just shine. Be the the light in the darkness that God chose you to be.
It’s okay to have just a couple friends, because sometimes “friends” can be the same people who will try to take advantage of you in your highs and abandon you in your lows. However, through it all, God is your friend. You are your friend. Goodmommy is your friend. And you might even meet one or two more friends along the way~but don’t rush it. For the Bible says that a friend will stick closer than a brother. And considering that we have a great little brother already, I know that can be pretty hard to beat, LOL.
Keeping the peace is more important than being right. I know that you’re a perfectionist. I am, too. Naturally, we want everything to be perfect all the time. Sometimes, we might think that something isn’t fair or that someone owes us an apology. We might think it in our heads. But a rule to always remember is avoid speaking everything that pops up in your brain. Every thought isn’t meant to be spoken. And if you ever need guidance, pray about it. God will tell you what to do. He’s good like that.
Don’t compare yourself to people. There will be times where you may look at someone else and think that they’ve got everything together. They may always have the biggest smile on their face. They may be popular. They may be pretty. They may be rich in money and jewels. But never forget that sometimes only God knows what’s happening beneath the surface. Rich in money is far from the same thing as rich in peace, joy, and love.
Stop worrying about what other people think about you. What do YOU think about you? What do the people who love you for who you are think about you? And most importantly, what does GOD think about you? What does He call you in His Word? These are the voices that you should listen to. The rest is nothing but background noise.
Let God fight your battle. Life might not be easy in every moment. You may need to make important decisions, and sometimes you might not know what to do. If and when these moments come, be still and listen. Let God fight for you, because He’s already won this battle. Some of the trials that we face are simply a test, where God is asking us “Will you keep your faith in Me?” In everything, God is able. And in His timing, the perfect timing, every season will pass. And with each season, God will make you stronger in Him.
With lots of love,
– Your future, teenage self ♡
If you could say anything to your younger self, what would it be?Feel free to share your thoughts in the chat. I’m super excited to hear from you!
Thank you all so much for reading! Have a beautiful and blessed day, everyone! God bless you all! ♡

March 8th is also known as International Women’s Day: a day to acknowledge women and girls, God’s creations, as well as their contributions, progress, advances, and value in today’s world as we know it. Although every day is International Women’s Day, this is yet another opportunity for us to come together and celebrate each other, just as we are, in love.
Of course, I had to slide some Bible scriptures in here. It’s always nice to hear some words of wisdom. Here are a few empowering Bible Verses about women and their strength in the Lord. I hope you enjoy! ❤
Proverbs 31:26 She speaks with wisdom,
and faithful instruction is on her tongue.
Luke 1:45 "Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her!”
1 Corinthians 11: 11-12 Nevertheless, in the Lord woman is not independent of man, nor is man independent of woman. For as woman came from man, so also man is born of woman. But everything comes from God.
1 Corinthians 15:10 But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them—yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.
Last but not least is the poem that I wrote today for (and to) women and girls around the world to read with loving and hopeful hearts. I absolutely LOVE poetry, so it’s always exciting when God gives me a new idea to write something new. All Rights Reserved.
Some may think we aren't strong enough That we must be stout to sit at the front end But that's far from the big picture, you see What they may break, we can mend
For although we might not have muscles That can strike the hardest of steel We do have the mentality and grace To love, to nurture, and to heal
Love that's true, love that's real Love that's in a home cooked meal A hug and a kiss to seal Love that no one can conceal
And, yes, we are feminine But that doesn't mean we're weak We come in many shapes and forms And even when we're silent, we speak
Sure, we are different; Me and you aren't the same Nor our backgrounds, hometowns, and kin Nor our names or our frames But no need to be disdained
Let's come together Celebrate each other Love one another As we would a sister or brother
For, although we’re not the same At the end of the day No one can take away our love Because love always wins And we’re all sisters beneath the skin - Words for Women, Written by Princess Q'Zion on March 8th, 2022. All Rights Reserved.
Thank you all so much for reading! Please take this time to share your gratitude to all of the wonderful, strong, and powerful women in your lives who are always there; every step of the way. I definitely thank God for the woman of God that He’s put in the place to raise me with Him. And you see, that’s what this day is about–appreciating the woman who have treated us with kindness and passed their wisdom from the Lord to the next generation.

Happy Saturday! If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, then you might be aware that I shared what I got for Christmas of 2021 (post link here). To be honest, there are still a couple of items that I hadn’t used, at this point, so I wanted to change that, today.
One of my favorite gifts from last year was this “Drawing Techniques” art kit. Inside it provides a book of instructions about different types of pencils, focal points, lighting, shading, value, and the list goes on.
It also gives step-by-step instructions for how you can draw realistic portraits that vary from fruit to flowers to animals to people. It also includes a variety of pencils, a kneaded eraser, a sketchbook, a fineliner, charcoals, and more! As soon as I opened this gift from the wrapping paper, I knew that I would definitely put it to good use.
Suddenly it dawned on me that it’s already February and I haven’t completed any of the sketch tutorials. So today, I reviewed the tools, materials, and basics at the beginning of the book, and moved on to the first drawing section: still lifes.
The beginning still life was one apple in 3 different positions. I had never drew a still life before (aside from 3D shapes for math class) so I thought this would be a great way to practice my ability to create realism in my work.
So, here is the basic sketch. It was very interesting to use 3 different pencils (you will see the different shades of pencil in the finished product) to create dimension and make the apples look like they are round.
Afterwards, I followed the guide in the instruction manual (basically the images) and started shading in the apples to add a little more depth. I must admit that it was a little tricky to draw 3D objects on a 2D surface, but it was a challenge that I quite enjoyed.
And voilà—here is my finished product. I must admit, I think I did a pretty good job for my first time ever drawing a still life. If this post gets enough likes (I’ll say at least 3-5) then I think I’ll makes my products from this art kit—and maybe even some personal projects—for you all to view. Please follow me if you’d like to see more of my art in the future.
Question of the Day: Have you ever photographed, painted, or drew a still life? If so, did you like the experience? Please comment down below.
Thank you so much for reading! Have a beautiful and blessed day, y’all! ✨

Beauty is skin deep. Sure. It may sound a little cheesy, and you’ve probably heard it a zillion times. You might even be tired of hearing it. But, despite how cliche it might be, this saying is absolutely true.
Valentine’s Day is about love, which is wonderful because God is love. And while February 14th is centered around the love we have for others, we also mustn’t neglect appreciating and loving who God made us to be.
Tomorrow is International Natural Day, also known as International Day of Self-love. Y’all already know that that’s a biggie on my blog. So, of course, I had to discuss it today. Whether you have a partner or not, the days before Valentine’s Day are to help remind us that we don’t need everyone’s validation.
It is a chance for us to realize and believe that we are all precious in God’s eyes. He said that we are the apple of His eye. And don’t be mistaken; God doesn’t look at what we look at. People will look at height and outward appearance. But God looks at our hearts. And as long as our Heavenly Father is pleased with us, both how we live our lives and who we are inside, then that is all the validation that we need.
Valentine’s Day is a day for us all to celebrate both inner and natural beauty. It is also to show those who we love, and who the Lord has placed in our lives to love us just the way we are, that we appreciate them, care for them, and are thankful for them.
And mind you, self-love doesn’t mean that we should be cocky or arrogant. It doesn’t mean that we should be putting ourselves on a pedestal. The first commandment is to love the Lord our God with ALL our soul, with ALL of our mind, and with ALL of our strength. The second is to love our neighbor as we love ourselves. (Mark 12:30-31 NIV) God ALWAYS comes first.
When I say “self-love” I mean coming to terms with the fact that we are fearfully and wonderfully made in God’s image. Living our lives as Jesus Christ sees fit, and respecting ourselves because we know that God loved us enough to give His one and only son to die for our sins.
“Self-love” is knowing that we are worth it because God sees worth in us. If God, the King of kings and Lord of lords loves us so much as to give up His only child, then we must be worth loving. We are worth loving because God loves us.
Have a beautiful day, everyone! Always remember that God IS love! ✨

Hey everyone! I hope that you are having an amazing day, night, afternoon, or morning! You know, whether we are trying to do our best at school, get healthier, or just go through life and thrive, we all need to stay motivated. I mean, motivation is what pushes you to keep going, and not give up, even when things get tough. Without motivation (whether it’s from others or yourself), as well as determination, then I’m sure that we would have all given up on at least one or two things, in the past. ✨
This is exactly why I thought that it would be a great idea to discuss 5 Ways to Stay Motivated with you guys!
So, are you ready to get/stay motivated? Let’s get started!
Surround yourself with a good support system. ✨
It’s easy to give up when you have a goal if you don’t have anyone to support you. Usually, there is at least one or two people, even if it is God, that will be able to push you to reach your goals. If you do have a person or people like this in your life, then those are the people that you want to stick around. It can make some people feel more secure and confident when they have people that support them to the fullest, even if the group isn’t very large.
2. Put up motivational messages in your room or as your screensaver. ✨
Perhaps you are the type of person that prefers to stay to themselves (which I personally think is a good thing). Then sometimes it’s best to just give yourself a little bit of motivation! Something that I enjoy doing is putting up motivational posters and decorations in my room. I also might add an inspirational quote or message to my screensaver! These are just little every day reminders that can help remind you how capable you are. And, let’s be real, a lot of us could use that reminder, sometimes!
3. Make the journey to your goal fun! ✨
If you often aren’t motivated to do something, and you still have plenty of time to do it, this could be because you simply don’t enjoy it. Whatever your goal is, make sure that you try to make it fun. And sure, I know that doing homework or being on a diet probably aren’t the most enjoyable task. However, making games to help you practice your algebra problems, working with a friend, or giving yourself a sweet reward after you eat your vegetables can make the experience at least a little more enjoyable.
4. Separate your goals into small sections. ✨
It’s a lot harder to be motivated to reach your goals when they are impossible to reach. It is a great idea to separate your goals into small sections or steps. Therefore, they will be easier to hit, and less likely to cause you to give up. For example, while writing my current novel, I try to set a do-able goal for myself (such as 100-250 words per day). This way, I don’t get discouraged, and I can hit my goal without it taking 1,000 years! It’s a win-win!
5. Celebrate your successes and achievements. ✨
Did you just reach one of your goals? Well, celebrate that! You know, a lot of times, we can actually forget that we need to reward ourselves when we actually set a goal for ourselves, then achieve it! Besides, after the hard work that you likely did, you really do deserve it!
…Lol. ✨
Alrighty, everyone! I really hope that you enjoyed these 5 Ways to Stay Motivated! Never forget that whenever you set a goal, try to stay motivated. It will help you push through and reach your goals, even when it’s a struggle! Trust me, you will be happy that you did, in the end!
Have a happy, healthy, and amazing day, everyone! ✨

So, for my virtual public schooling, I usually have (at least) one Zoom class every day. On Monday, both my electives and one of my main courses from Tuesday to Friday. I really enjoy them, because they give me a chance to interact with my classmates and look good while doing it.
I’ve been absolutely obsessed with my headbands for a little while now. Since most of them were multi-colored, I asked Goodmommy if she could get any single-colored head wraps for me. And, of course, she delivered! Thanks, Goodmommy. :)) ❤️
And now that I look at my growing collection of head wraps, I realize that it’s getting pretty big! That’s when I knew that it would be a fun blog post idea.
Here’s a short and sweet look at my *colorful* headband collection.
First up are my Top&Top Kotted Headbands. The intricate designs are so detailed, and the color choices are spectacular. What I really love is the fact that you can mix-and-match the headbands with your outfits. They’re really comfy, too.
Slideshow #1 (please press the arrows to see each headband individually)
The next ones are made by the same company, but they are unknotted with stretch elastic in the back—the part that goes around the back of my head. The patterns on this set kind of remind of different cultural patterns, for some reason.
Slideshow #2 (please press the arrows to see each headband individually)
Second to last are my Knotted Louis Vuitton headbands. I adore the simplicity of these designs. They can go with a multitude of colors and aren’t super detailed or complicated. Sometimes, that’s just what my outfits need.
Slideshow #3 (please press the arrows to see each headband individually)
And last, but not least, are the single-colored headbands that I was blessed with today. There are 5 in a pack (2 black, 1 grey, 1 dark blue, and 1 red.) I really wanted these so that I could match them with multi-colored outfits. Sometimes, all an outfit needs is one neutral color to tie it all together.
As you can see, I have a lot of headbands. However, I love them all. They’re simple, chic, and they allow me to be creative. And what is fashion without creativity?
Have a beautiful, blessed day everyone! See you next time! ✨

As you all know (if you saw yesterday’s post, that is) today is National Wear Red Day! Yesterday, I wrote about the reason behind National Wear Red Day—to honor the women and men who have passed due to heart disease and/or stroke. I also explained what we can do as support towards the strides to lower these statistics. And one of the most predominant strategies that I mention was wearing red!
But, of course, it wasn’t enough to just say what we can do to support this amazing cause: I wanted to put my words in action. Check out me and Goodmommy looking radiant in red as a tribute to American Heart Month.
Of course, we had to do our normal routine and take an entire photo shoot once we got home, LOL. But I’m happy that we were able to make a statement through both fashion and color: two different methods of expression that blend to a tee.
Any time with Goodmommy is a treat, but we sure had a lot of fun going out today. Even though we mostly did just errands, Goodmommy was super sweet to buy us both a strawberry milkshake with red cherries on top. We didn’t actually eat the cherries. But the color of our milkshakes were pink, a color in the same family as red. So technically, we second-handedly added another red(ish) element to our National Wear Red Day.
I hope you enjoyed this quick read. Hopefully, you had fun celebrating National Wear Red Day, as well!
Have a beautiful, blessed, and red day, y’all! God is Good! ❤️✨❤️
